Dr. Danny Hayes was born in Portage, IN. He began his college education at Marian University in Indianapolis, and he subsequently completed his postgraduate studies at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. While attending, he was not only a member of the American Student Dental Association and Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity, but he was also selected for the Stomatognathic Honor Society in recognition for his prosthodontic work. Of course, his passion for dentistry has not stopped or slowed down even a little after his graduation, and to this day he still attends continuing education courses for dental implant placement, mini-implants, porcelain veneers, sedation, laser dentistry, and other advanced dental procedures. Over his two decades of practicing dentistry, he’s been a stickler for perfection and helping his patients conquer their dental phobias and discover how to bring out the true beauty of their teeth. He currently lives with his wife Kathy along with their two sons, Patrick and Daniel, and their daughter Riley. Among Dr. Hayes’s hobbies aside from spending time with the people he loves are golf, fishing, fly fishing, baseball, boating, traveling, woodworking, and even flying – in fact, he’s aiming to become a certified private pilot!

Chicago Dental Society: The members of this society all focus on promoting good oral health (as well as good health in general) throughout Chicago, and they promote the art and science of dentistry to other dental professionals across the metropolitan area.

American Dental Association: You might have heard of the ADA before, as it is both the largest and the longest-lived dental organization based in the United States, being founded in 1859 and growing to over 155,000 members since then. It’s dedicated to giving dental professionals and patients access to the latest oral health information.

Indiana Dental Association: Much like the ADA, this organization is also dedicated to providing oral health education and resources to dentists and patients, but it’s focused on the states of Indiana. Hoosiers of all ages can benefit from the information that the IDA provides.

Northwest Indiana Dental Society: This is an organization specifically for dental professionals that are part of the Lake, Porter, and LaPort County communities. Its goal is to provide continuing education opportunities for dentists and help dentists and patients alike receive information and advocacy for dental legislation in the area.

American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry: Founded in December of 1984, this is the largest cosmetic dental organization not just in the country but in the entire world. It gives dentists who are interested in improving the appearances of smiles an easier way to seek out education and get in touch with other like-minded individuals.

American Academy of Implant Dentistry: The AAID makes sure that implant dentists and patients have access to the education they need for successful procedures. They also help facilitate referrals and hold various networking events and annual conferences.

American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine: For dental professionals who want to be able to use oral appliances to treat sleep apnea (which is often referred to as sleep-disordered breathing) and stop snoring, this organization gives them access to networking and resources.
